Time travelrs track the history of the most important

Time travelrs track the history of the most important work of literature in human history.

What does it detail? Does it detail the first interaction of human with aliens? Are these time travelers aliens?

Are they non-corporeal time travelers who are tracking the first act of one of their own actually travelling with body, and thus impacting the timeline? As a result they see history changing before them?

The twist is one thing, but what historical events do I want to cover?

  • A pre-writing society. Mystical and written like a native-ish allegory.\
  • A Egypt-esque society. Written in a biblical manner. There is a copy of the book that is burned in the library of alexandria centures later. Other copies are scattered and eventually destroyed.\
  • The liberation of the Jews by Cyrus the great by the jews. They give him a copy of the book as a gift.\
  • Reign of Asoka?

Perhaps a letter from the pope to Genghis Khan marks the 1 st interaction between the 2 rival factions in this temporal war.

  • Perhaps a 2 nd timeline start with a figure appearing at the library of alexandria as it is burning to take a copy of the book. This begins the physical intervention timeline of the book. Caesar burns the libary in 48 BC.
    …\
  • Meiji Restoration starts with the book being brought from the west. This sparks the events leading to the Pacific War.
